  • Download Bill

    duk_download_billreadlogin required10 credits / call

Download a Duke Energy bill as a PDF. Give the account number (from List Accounts) and, optionally, the document number or bill date (from List Bills) — by default it downloads the most recent downloadable bill for that account.

    duk_list_accountsreadlogin required10 credits / call

List all of the contract accounts on your Duke Energy login. One login can own several accounts, so this returns them all — each with its account number, service address, status, and nickname — so you can pick the exact account for List Bills or Download Bill.

  • List Bills

    duk_list_billsreadlogin required10 credits / call

List the bills and statements for a Duke Energy contract account. Each bill includes its date, amount, document number, invoice number, service period, and whether a PDF is available — along with the document number you pass to Download Bill. Requires an account number from List Accounts.

Duke Energy API questions

Is there an API for Duke Energy?
Duke Energy does not offer a public data API for this, but Anakin Wire provides 3 maintained endpoints for duke-energy.com. You call Anakin's REST API with an action ID and parameters and get structured JSON back; Anakin handles the browser, proxies, anti-bot, and parsing.
How do I scrape Duke Energy data?
POST to https://api.anakin.io/v1/wire/task with your API key, the action ID, and its parameters, then poll GET /v1/wire/jobs/{id} until the job settles. There is nothing to install and no scraper to maintain — when duke-energy.com changes its markup, Anakin updates the action.
Do I need a Duke Energy account?
Some Duke Energy actions read data that is only visible when signed in, so those need a credential you connect once. Actions marked "read" without a login requirement run anonymously.
What does the Duke Energy API cost?
Usage-based credits, charged per call and refunded automatically when a job fails. New accounts start with 300 free credits and no card. See anakin.io/pricing for the current rates.
